Pricing is one of the trickiest decisions when you are getting started, and there is a lot of variation across creators. Here are some practical benchmarks to help you set rates that feel right and still earn well.
Custom content
Most creators price custom content by the minute. Five to ten dollars per minute is fairly standard, though there is plenty of variation. If you are just starting out, it is normal to price toward the lower end. Couples typically charge more.
Subscriptions
If you plan to focus on custom content, keep your subscription price low or even set your page to free. If instead you post regularly (for example daily), a subscription of eight to twelve dollars per month is typical. Lean lower if you post a lot of PPV content, and higher if you do not.
Pay-per-view
When you are starting out, a strong approach is to run a robust free page and sell content via PPV. For most non celebrity creators, PPV prices tend to run from five to twenty dollars per unlock.
Build your audience first
To make money you need a fanbase to sell to, so start that process early through social media and other platforms. Ultimately the price is yours to decide. Always charge an amount you feel good about, and if a sale leaves you feeling underpaid, that is your cue to raise your rates. Good luck.
