Trusting your instincts

As a sex worker with 5 years of experience on multiple platofrms, one of the most important things I've learned is to trust my gut. When you work in an industry that can be unpredictable and sometimes dangerous, your intuition is your greatest tool for staying safe and protecting yourself.

Trusting your instincts means listening to your gut and paying attention to the subtle cues that your body and mind are giving you. It means recognizing when something doesn't feel right, even if you can't put your finger on why.

For me, trusting my instincts has meant learning to say no when something doesn't feel right. It means recognizing when a client is behaving in a way that makes me uncomfortable, and being willing to walk away from a situation that feels unsafe.

Trusting your instincts can also mean recognizing when a situation feels too good to be true. In our line of work, there are many people who will try to take advantage of sex workers, either by offering them unrealistic sums of money or promising them work that turns out to be illegal or exploitative. By trusting my instincts and being willing to walk away from these situations, I've been able to protect myself and avoid getting into situations that could be harmful.

Of course, trusting your instincts isn't always easy. Sometimes, it can be tempting to ignore that little voice in your head that's telling you something isn't right. Maybe you're worried about offending a client, or maybe you're just eager to make money. But the truth is, ignoring your instincts can be dangerous. It can put you in harm's way and leave you vulnerable to exploitation or violence.

So if you're a sex worker, or if you work in any industry where your safety and well-being are at stake, I encourage you to trust your instincts. Listen to that little voice inside your head, and don't be afraid to walk away from a situation that doesn't feel right. Your intuition is your greatest tool for staying safe and protecting yourself, and by trusting it, you can ensure that you stay out of harm's way and enjoy a long and fulfilling career in the sex industry.
